
Yeast Froth
- 2 tbsp yeast
- 1/2 cup luke warm water
- Dash of sugar
Stir till all is dissolved. Set aside and let froth.
Dough
- 5 cups flour (all purpose or bread)
- 1/2 cup butter (cut in small cubes)
- 1/2 tbsp sea salt or 1 tbsp kosher salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups hot water
Mix with dough hook till smooth.
Then add ingredients below
- 2 eggs (large) add one at a time
- Yeast Froth from above
- 3 additional cups flour
Mix till smooth then cover.
Let rise to double in the bowl.
Knead down.
Let rise to double, again.
Knead down.
Then form into 50 gram balls (golf ball size). Roll each ball in flour.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, spray with oil.
Place each roll about 1 inch apart. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rise till doubled.
Preheat oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bake 10-12 minutes in 350º until light golden brown. Brush with melted butter while hot out of the oven.

The amount sounds like a large amount, but these rolls will go fast. If you have any left overs, use for bread pudding, turkey sandwich, etc.
